The UCWC seeks to endorse like-minded candidates for local, state, and federal offices. We scrutinize candidates in Bourne, Falmouth, Mashpee, and Sandwich to ensure that they embrace the mission and guiding principles of the UCWC, as well as support our legislative objectives, where applicable. We then publicly endorse and support those whose values align with ours.
Endorsements and Elections Work Group Responsibilities
- Build outreach support in Bourne, Falmouth, Mashpee, and Sandwich to support endorsement teams
- Collect names and contact information for candidates
- Contact and set up interviews
- Continue to refine and improve the interview process to ensure endorsed candidates’ views, principles, and legislative objectives reflect those of UCWC.
- Present recommendations to executive committee
