Postcards:
If you’d like to write postcards to swing states to encourage potential voters to register and in the last weeks to Get Out The Vote, contact Nan Logan at loganwoho@comcast.net for an email every month to participate and share with friends to spread the effort. She will provide postcards (in multiples of 25), with names, addresses and a script, and deliver them to your door! All you have to do is to address, write a message, stamp, and send!!
Tuesdays at 10 AM: Write Postcards at Cape Cod Bagel
You’re invited to join a weekly post card writing party sponsored by the Falmouth Democratic Town Committee on Tuesdays from 10-11 AM on the outside deck at Cape Cod Bagel, 419 Palmer Avenue (inside if it rains or is too hot). The first party is Tuesday, July 2. The group will use cards from Field Team Six with scripts addressed to voters in swing states.
Writers are asked to supply their own stamps and to please purchase a coffee or bagel from our gracious host.
All welcome! Email: FalmouthDems@gmail.com to let them know you are coming. Bring friends!
Travel to help in other states: If you seek a soles-on-the-swing-state-soil experience, among its other outreach activities, the MA-based Swing Blue Alliance helps arrange for volunteers to go to battleground states to register, persuade, and turn out Democratic voters. States are chosen based on the closeness and criticality of the race, the proximity to New England, and Swing Blue’s partnerships in that state
