Upper Cape Women’s Coalition is hosting a Bigger Than Roe gathering on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at 1 PM on the Falmouth Town Green.
We will affirm our commitment to reproductive freedom for all, honor the anniversary of Roe v Wade and send an unequivocal message:
WHEN WOMEN’S RIGHTS ARE ON THE BALLOT, WE WILL VOTE!’
The fall of Roe v Wade galvanized our work, proving that our fight extends beyond any single court decision. Upper Cape Women’s Coalition recognizes the pivotal factor in these battles is not just the fall of Roe; it is the collective power of women.
The 2024 election is the most important of our generation. We must join together and work to win back our rights! If politicians threaten our families, our freedoms, or our future, we will work to unseat you. We have invited sitting and announced legislators to sign pledges to actively support women’s rights to healthcare including abortion and plan to have healthcare providers speak.
This gathering is a strategic intervention to galvanize voters for the 2024 elections. We’re showing up to secure abortion access and counter far-right extremism.
